What is the process of constructing an offshore cofferdam with sheet piles?

Sheet piles are then driven into the structure and tied down if necessary.

Once installed in place, the cofferdam can be dewatered and the required work can then be performed. Once completed, the process is reversed and the cofferdam is refilled with water before the sheet piles and supports are removed.

 

Cofferdams have proven to be a beneficial solution for sheet piling in both temporary and permanent projects, although it is the former that really highlights its sustainable, recyclable nature.
